Bark-N-Bites, Inc., was founded by two women who felt their jobs “were going to the dogs". One day during our daily commute on the train to Chicago, I said, “You know, I always wanted to open a dog bakery”. One of my train buddies, Barb, replied, “Me, too!” I then said, “I know the perfect baker to bring on board, my best friend from Europe, Miki.” From that moment on we were known as “The Biscuit Babes.” All of us love our dogs and wanted them to have healthy, nutritional and appetizing treats without additives or preservatives.

We did hours of research, examining the nutritional value and content of each recipe we concocted, verifying each with veterinarians and dog trainers. Our group of canine field test engineers (Andy, Brutus, Buster, Cossy, Cvrle, Gracie, Josh, Lady, Mama, Marley, Max, Missy, Moco, Nellie, Poochie, Rosie 1, Rosie 2, Shiloh, Squeaks and Toto) gave us the “paws up” on eight delectable treats and several cakes. Final approval for each product developed was given by our Master Chefs.
